IPSY September 2016

If you haven’t heard yet, IPSY is a pretty awesome beauty subscription box.

September couldn’t get here fast enough!  Once I received my first glam bag I started the countdown to the next.  When they first revealed the bag I thought it was ugly, not a fan at all!  Now, when I saw it in person I started to like it a bit more.  I was excited because I had a few items I couldn’t wait to try!

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask – This was the top of my list, I just started to use shampoo bars and this looked to be an OK conditioner that wouldn’t put junk in my hair.  It was a disappointment.  Needless to say it’s not the product for my hair.  It’s not bad, but it works just as good as one I picked up the other day for much less.

BellaPierre Cosmetics Mineral Blush in Autumn Glow – This I really loved!  The color is just right; I like how it’s not too different from my natural tone.  Blush is not something I use often, I feel with this I could use it more often.

Crown Brush Ombre Angle Brush – YES!  I was so excited to get a brush in my bag!  All my brushes are so old, I was hoping to get a few to try before buying more.  I do really like this; however, I hope to try out a few more brushes before deciding on which brand to buy more of.

NUXE Moisturizing Mask Crème Fraiche de Beaute – This is not my type of product, but it’s not bad. I’m very natural on this one, it didn’t help or hurt.

Tarte cosmetics tarteist lash paint mascara – This was probably the thing I was most excited about in my bag.  I’ve always had long dark lashes so I’ve never used mascara.  I actually really like it, it didn’t clump too much when I put it on.  It also didn’t help a lot either (dark eyelashes here…), but it did make my eyes pop a little more.  My biggest complaint is that when I pull it out it seems to clump on the brush some, when it clumps on the brush that’s when it doesn’t go on as nice.
